An acquaintance referred me to Jim Mundell as an “honest realtor” and he was so right. Jim was very upfront with me about the reality of my situation. Being a widow in my 80’s, I was not up for doing any improvements in the interior of my home so I wanted to sell “as is.” Jim very carefully explained the pro’s and con’s of doing this, but didn’t pressure me into changing my mind. He also explained all the reasons behind the plethora of paperwork required and gave me reasoned advice every step along the way. He and Seth, with their understanding of our local real estate and my particular estate, came up with a realistic amount to ask for. The house sold quickly, with a buyer paying more than that amount. Being a military member and having to move out of Texas, you took care of my property extremely well with constant updates and reassurance. Although there was a fire accident in the house, thankfully no one was hurt; the process afterwards was seamless. I really appreciated the connection and working with my dad when he flew out to assess the damage and search for contractors as COVID had hit and I was locked down from traveling anywhere outside of my local area. Thank you for you and your family in taking care of the yard and outside of the house while the work was being done, keeping the house appearance constantly clean and fresh. As it turned out, once the house was renovated, it was in the best interest for me to sell my house, which in turn, you became my real-estate agent. Just a short note about the recent sale of my home in Bentwood. I have known Jim Mundell for over 30 years thru our golf activities at Bentwood, so when I decided to sell my home there it was an easy choice to ask Jim to handle it.
